Eunice Cormier

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 14, 2005, at Union Baptist Church in St. Martinville for Eunice C. Cormier, 96, who died Sunday, May 8, 2005 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will be in Union Baptist Cemetery in St. Martinville. The funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Joel Greene Mrs. Cormier was a devoted member of Union Baptist Church. Survivors include her two sons, Roy Polite and Lloyd Cormier, both of Galveston, TX; three daughters, Willie Mae Ambroise of Galveston, TX, Maxine Cormier of Baton Rouge and Dorothy Ledet of St. Martinville; one sister, Ceola Chambers of St. Martinville; eight grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ethel Broughton; and her parents, Urlich and Alice Chambers. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 8 AM on Saturday and continue until time of service. Pellerin Funeral Home (337)332-2111 is in charge of arrangements.
