Eunice Alexander Gary

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, December 28, 2005, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Eunice Alexander Gary, 91, who died Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Survivors include two sons, Melvin (Mary) Gary of Lafayette and Nedley Gary of Breaux Bridge; one daughter, Merley G. Benoit of Breaux Bridge; one brother, Willis Alexander of Breaux Bridge; one son-in-law, Joseph Provost, Sr. of Lafayette, 32 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fernest Gary; her parents, Daniel and Louisa Selectman Alexander, her son, Nelson Gary; her daughter; Maudry G. Provost; five brothers, Stanley, Ernest, Guidroz, Rufus and Edward Alexander; one sister; Felicia A. Joseph; and two daughter-in-laws, Elsie B. Gary and Dorothy A. Gary. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 pm till 10:00 pm, Tuesday, December 27, 2005 and continue at 7:00 am Wednesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Joseph Provost, Jr., Micheal Provost, Lee Allen Gary, Alton Benoit, Jr., Nathan Gary and Ricky Gary Sr. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
