Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, January 12, 2009, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Eunice Webb LeBlanc, 75, who passed away on Friday, January 9, 2009 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Father Louis Allen Breaux, Associate Pastor of St. Bernard Church, will officiate at the funeral Mass. Gift bearers will be Michelle Brasseaux, Dora LeBlanc, and her great grandchildren.
Eunice was better known to those who knew and loved her as "Taunt Eun." She enjoyed camping, fishing, and decorating her house for Christmas, which was her most favorite time of year. Eunice was married to the love of her life, C.J., who is our "2009 Crawfish King," for 54 years, and loved her family dearly and always wanted to take care of them in any way she could. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Cleus "C. J." LeBlanc, of Breaux Bridge; one son Michael LeBlanc and his wife, Dora, of Breaux Bridge; three daughters, Cindy L. Garcia and her husband, Ozzie, of Breaux Bridge, Judy L. Ardoin, and her companion, Douglas B. Stelly, of Lafayette, and Armenia LeBlanc and her companion, Chris P. Goodell, of Houston, TX; one brother, Peter Webb, of Lafayette; two sisters, Ana Mae Huval, of Lafayette, and Clara Bijeaux, of Breaux Bridge; nine grandchildren, Chad Brasseaux, Blaine Brasseaux, Melanie Garcia, Chet Ardoin, Paul Robin, Jacques LeBlanc, Christian Blanchard, Ariel Blanchard, and Monique Blanchard; and six great grandchildren, Claire Brasseaux, Ethan Brasseaux, Morgan Brasseaux, Caynon M. Ardoin, Amanda Sonnier, and Cainan Cardin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Antoine and Isabelle Landry Webb; a brother, Charles Webb; a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Ralph LeBlanc; and her nephew, Greg Webb.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 7 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Pallbearers will be Chad Brasseaux, Blaine Brasseaux, Mike LeBlanc, Kirby LeBlanc, Chet Ardoin, and Peter Webb.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bentley Bijeaux, Earles Paul LeBlanc, and Jacques LeBlanc.
