Eva Nadine Malorin Huval

Breaux Bridge - A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, on Friday, December 4, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Eva Nadine Malorin Huval, 57, who passed away on Monday, November 30, 2015. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday. Eva Nadine Malorin Huval, known to family and friends as simply Eva or Nadine and to some family affectionately as Deanie, was a free-spirited, kind-hearted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She exemplified beauty inside and out. She found joy in giving beautiful things to others, which she purchased in an effort to support local artists and businesses. Her love of the earths natural wonders gave her the desire to be a good steward of the world around her and to share its bounties through healthy cooking and eating. Her love of poetry, ideas, and laughter were contagious and she freely shared these and more. We loved her with all our hearts and will miss her until we meet again. She is survived by two daughters, Ashley Degeyter of New Orleans and Leah Maxwell of Lafayette; two grandchildren, Zoe and Lucy; her brother, Randy Malorin and wife Vickie of Copperas Cove, TX; two sisters, Lynette Malorin Andrews and husband David of St. Francisville, LA, and Nelwyn Walker and husband Mike of Plano, TX; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, Elie and Delta Courville Malorin of Arnaudville. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, to donate to your favorite women's or animal charity in her name or memory.
