Evelyn Robin Guidry

Leonville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 11, 2008, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville, for Evelyn Robin Guidry, 99, who passed away on Friday, February 08, 2008 at St. Claire Manor Nursing Home in Baton Rouge. Entombment will follow at St. Leo the Great Mausoleum in Leonville. Having lived to almost 100 Mrs. Evelyn lived a very active and fulfilling life. ?She enjoyed bingo at the Port Allen Council on Aging, spending time with her friends and being a member of the Ladies Altar Society. ?It is with her devote faith that she will be spending her 100th birthday with her loved ones that have gone before her. ?She will be missed by her family especially her son, grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she all adored... Survivors include her son, James Guidry of Baton Rouge; her grandchildren Duane Guidry and his wife, Kimberly, Darlene Rayburn and her husband, Thomas and Renee Barron; her great grandchildren, Megan Guidry, Londyn Rayburn, Garette Rayburn, Brennon Barron and Baylor Barron; an a very special friend Barbara Cronin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Joseph Guidry; her parents, Theovide and Marie Guidry; 3 brothers, Eddie, Clemile and Clopha Robin; her 2 sisters, Adeline Mayers and Lucy Arnaud; her daughter in law, Margarette Guidry. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 am on Monday, February 11, 2008. Pallbearers will be Lawrence J. Guidry, Thomas Rayburn, Garette Rayburn, Chris Barron, Brennon Barron and Duane Guidry. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
