Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Friday, March 2, 2018, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Evelyn Castille LeBlanc, 101, who passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm on Thursday; continue on Friday at 7:00 am until 10:00 am. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Thursday. Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Evelyn was born and lived most of her life in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. She was a member of the Altar Society of St. Bernard Catholic Church and Woodmen of the World Society. Evelyn was a great wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and a very talented seamstress. She is survived by her sons, Norbert "Sonny" LeBlanc and wife Joyce, Charles LeBlanc and wife Betty, Thomas LeBlanc and wife Linda, James LeBlanc, and Wade LeBlanc, Jr. and wife Bonnie; daughters, Carolyn LeBlanc, Rebecca Dubose and husband Daniel, and Julie Clifton and husband Wayne; 18 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and sister, Annette Castille Begnaud. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Wade LeBlanc, Sr.; parents, Zachary and Julie Webre Castille; brothers, Ignace and Leland Castille; and sisters, Yuline Dwyer and Inez Landry. Pallbearers will be Beau DuBose, Bryan LeBlanc, Bronson Credeur, Kevin LeBlanc, Michael LeBlanc, and Blake LeBlanc. Honorary pallbearer will be Byron LeBlanc.
