Everett McBride, Sr.

New Iberia - Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Everett Joseph McBride, Sr., 67, who passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018, in New Iberia. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate. Interment will be at a later date. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home. A resident of New Iberia, Mr. McBride was born on January 21, 1951 in Church Point to the late Norris Anthony McBride and Martha Bihm, and worked for over 35 years at Cargill Salt. An avid collector, he had extensive collections of Bud Light memorabilia, model classic cars, beer steins, and guitars. Mr. McBride also loved electronics and gadgets. Survivors include his wife, Donna Kaminski McBride of New Iberia; sons, Everett McBride, Jr. and wife Monique of Castle Rock, Colorado, John McBride of Castle Rock, Colorado, and Mark McBride of New Iberia; sister, Dorothy McBride Bailey of Forest, Mississippi; granddaughter, Yvette McBride; and sisters-in-law, Helen McBride of Broussard, and Velma McBride of Scott. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Anthony McBride, Jr. and Dwight McBride; and a sister, Catherine Bridget McBride. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
