Fabiola 'Toot' G. Huval

Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm, on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, for Fabiola "Toot" G. Huval, 85, who passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Monday, and continue on Tuesday at 8:00 am until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Monday by Betty Guidry and Flo Huval. Rev. Brian Webre will officiate at the Mass. Readers will be Dolores Hebert and Judy Olivier. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Toot worked for Al's Grocery for many years. She was known for her home made candy every year for Christmas, starting in November, every day she would make a variety of candy. Everyone would patiently wait for her famous "Taunt Toots" candy. Toot was devoted to her family and loved spending time with them during family gatherings. She was a self-less woman who loved life and would always include everyone for each holiday or special occasion. Toot is now enjoying her heavenly home with her loving husband, Dalton, and her beloved dog, Peanut. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving daughter, Elaine H Lasseigne and husband Mark; grandchildren, Marcy Lasseigne and her companion Shannon "T-Boy" Choplin, Megan Tardiff and spouse Josh "Baby-Boy"; godchildren, Margie, Roger and Mildred; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Dalton "Black" Huval; brothers, Simeon, Philozie, Lucien, Maurice "Lucere", Ovey, and David Guidry; sisters, Felonise Boyer, Innocent Huval, Marie and Enola LeBlanc; and her parents, Paul and Azelie Theriot Guidry. Pallbearers will be Mark Lasseigne, Shannon Choplin, Josh Tardiff, Russ Huval, Ricky LeBlanc and Ernest Guidry. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom, Roger, Harry and Roland Guidry, Ron LeBlanc and Leonard Devillier.
