Farris Breaux

Coteau Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 7, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Farris Happy Easy Breaux, 75, who died on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 in Youngsville. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 3:30 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, in New Iberia. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM. A resident of Coteau, Mr. Breaux was born on September 21, 1939 in Leroy to Avery and Lena Boudreaux Breaux. He was a self-employed truck driver, and his hobbies included fishing, gardening, cooking, playing jokes, and repairing things. Survivors include his wife, Joni White Breaux of Coteau; children, David Breaux and wife Maxine of Delcambre, Cheryl Toups and husband Dwayne of Meaux, Jarred Breaux of Broussard; step son, Clint Roy and wife Tracey of Lafayette; brothers and sisters, Paul Breaux and wife Kathy of New Iberia, Hilda Dugas of Duson, Wilmer Breaux and wife Leona of Kaplan, Vernis PeeWee Breaux and wife Mary of Lafayette, Ronald Breaux and wife Beverly of Broussard, Lercey Breaux and wife Delores of Duson, Mazel Delcambre of New Iberia; 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 due to arrive in March In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Percy Breaux, Burley Breaux, Dallas Breaux, Elix Breaux; sister, Mary Delhomme Pallbearers will Drake Toups, David Breaux, Jr., Dylan Dauteruil, Joseph Dauteruil, Rodney Dugas, and Toby Panyanouvong.
