VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM, on Friday, July 31, 2009, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Felix Paul Derouen, 71, who passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 in New Iberia. Interment will be in Broussard Cemetery. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate. Born on August 14, 1937, Mr. Derouen was a native and lifelong resident of New Iberia. He enjoyed country music and watching western movies. Survivors include godchild, Lucille M. Dore of New Iberia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Nola Derouen, Sr.; brothers, Wilson Derouen, Jr. and Jeffery Derouen, Sr. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Dore, Alfred Bonin, Paul Bonin, Cody Boudreaux, Albert Friou, Jr., Glenn Gary, Samuel Emerson, and Welsey Savoie, Jr. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Thursday. Visitation will continue Friday from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
