Felton Joseph Jolivette

New Iberia - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, September 19, 2015, at St. Edward Catholic Church in New Iberia, for Felton Joseph Jolivette, 76, who passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015, in New Iberia. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10:30 am on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 am on Saturday. Rev. Thomas Hein Vu will officiate at the Funeral Service. Co-celebrant will be Deacon Raymond Derouen. Readers will be Shelly Jolivette and Frankie Provost. Gift Bearers will be Hannah Hebert and Caitlin Hebert. Mr. Felton enjoyed going to the casino, playing cards, and cooking for his family. He cherished moments spent with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving spouse Diana Sonnier Jolivette; daughters, Carrie Jolivette Hebert of Youngsville and Shelly Jolivette of Baton Rouge; son, Vance Jolivette of Avery Island; brothers, Arthur Jolivette, Jr. and wife Mary Ann of Avery Island, Ralph Jolivette and wife Gloria of Washington, Larry Jolivette of New Iberia, Rodney Jolivette of New Iberia; sisters, Yvonne Jolivette Sonnier of Lafayette, Leona Jolivette of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Edward Frank Provost, Jr., Hannah Hebert, Cyrus Jolivette, Caitlin Hebert, Chase Jolivette, Kulin Robertson, Mia Jolivette, Miles Jolivette; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leona Jolivette Nelson and Arthur Jolivette, Sr.; sisters, Josephine Barras, Ethel Mae Chretien, and Wilda Pratt; brothers, James Leon Jolivette, Glen Jolivette, Bradley "Fuzzy" Jolivette, and Wayne Jolivette; brother in law, Darrel Sonnier. Pallbearers will be Frankie Edward Provost Jr., Cyrus Jolivette , Chase Jolivette, David Jolivette, Kulin Robertson, and Danny Sonnier. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Jolivette.
