Fenris Davis Larson

New Iberia – A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 am, on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Pellerin Funeral Home, for Fenris Davis Larson, 70, who passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023.

Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm, at Pellerin Funeral Home, and will continue Saturday, from 9:00 am until 10:30 am.

Mr. Larson was born on November 24, 1952, in New Iberia, and was a 1970 graduate of New Iberia Senior High. After graduating, he joined the Louisiana Army National Guard where he attained the rank of sergeant over the course of his 6 years of military service. He had an active career as a pipefitter for many years at the Port of Iberia until his retirement in 2018. He loved spending time outdoors in his orchard and was an avid gardener. Mr. Larson enjoyed fishing, feeding the birds, playing croquet, hiking and watching college sports. He loved telling jokes, making people laugh and playing with his grandchildren. He was not ashamed of the gospel and gladly shared his faith with those around him.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Delcambre Larson; mother, Nettie Gautreaux Larson; children, Austin Davis Larson (Angela), Boone Fenris Larson (Brenna), Clint Davis Larson (Dacie), Alecia Larson Pinner (Joshua); grandchildren, Ava Larson, Ella Larson, Camille Larson, Lily Larson, Flynn Larson, Avery Larson, Dane Larson, Camryn Larson, Samuel Larson, Hailey Pinner, Jude Pinner, Noah Pinner, and Gideon Pinner; siblings, Belinda Larson Armentor (San), Chandra Larson Broussard (Ren), Donna Larson McDonald (Mike), David Larson (Katy), and Connie Larson Elrod (Gil).

He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Davis Larson, and younger brother Eric Larson.
