Florence "Flo" Castille Courville

Breaux Bridge Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 10 am at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana for Flo Courville who died on December 28, 2016. Flo was born on September 14, 1920 in Port Arthur, Texas. She was one of six children born to William and Anita Thibodeaux Castille. She met her beloved husband, Alfred Courville, at a dance and they were married on October 5, 1940. Flo is survived by her daughter, Faye Derbonne and husband, Otis; two granddaughters, Sherri Iler and husband, David, and Kathryn Derbonne and husband, Ricardo; two great granddaughters, Allison Nolen and husband, C.J., and Brittany Iler. She is also survived by one sister, Ruby Clary and one brother-in-law, Paul Melancon. Flo was preceded in death by her parents, William and Anita Castille; her beloved husband, Alfred; son, Ron; sisters, Mildred Courville, Hazel Guidry, and Mabel Melancon; and brother, William Castille. She was a lover of travel, long talks about family history, and all beautiful things God has created, the flowers, birds, and animals. Now she is at peace with her beloved family.
