Florence Jones Noel

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 28, 2007, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Breaux Bridge for Florence Jones Noel, 84, who died Friday, February 23, 2007 at Our Lady of Lourdes in Lafayette. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Rev. LeRoy Banks and Thelma Alex, church council member, of Bethlehem Baptist Church, will conduct the services. Mrs. Noel was a parishioner of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She loved the outdoors and gardening. Survivors include her two sons, Joseph E. Noel and his wife, Marie D. Noel, of Lafayette, and Wallace L. Noel of Breaux Bridge; one daughter, Frances M. Etienne and her husband, Thomas J. Etienne, Jr. of St. Martinville; her nephews, George C. Hanks and Floyd Hanks, both of Lake Charles; five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Noel; her parents, Mary and James Jones; two brothers, Gilbert and Samuel Jones; three sisters, Mildred Pecot, Heneritta Courville, and Catherine Williams. ? The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 a.m., on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 until time of service. Pallbearers will be Joseph Noel, Wallace Noel, George Hanks, Floyd Hanks, Kerry Etienne, and Terrell Etienne. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
