Breaux Bridge- Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 21, 2006, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge for Floyd "Mulate" Joseph Boudreaux, 83, who died Friday, August 18, 2006 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge.
Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson.
Mr. Boudreaux was a commercial fisherman. He was a Free Mason of the Albert Rousseau Lodge, No. 301 in St. Martinville since 1956; and was a member of the St. Martin Auxiliary Police.
Survivors include his sons, David Boudreaux and his wife, Sharon of Cecilia and Ricky Boudreaux and his wife, Cathie of Breaux Bridge; his daughters, Judy Noel and her husband, Ronald of Cecilia and Trudy Thibodeaux and her husband, Gerald of Youngsville; his companion, Margie Latiolais; his sister, Aliente Borel of Catahoula; ten grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel LeBlanc Boudreaux; his parents, John and Lovina Altemus Boudreaux; his brothers, Ludel and Lewis "Lovis" Boudreaux; and his sisters, Lovina "Pitit" Wiltz and Ludivine "Tit" Allen.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Monday until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday evening.
Pallbearers will be his sons, David and Ricky Boudreaux; his son-in-laws, Ron Noel and Gerald Thibodeaux; and his youngest grandsons, Jude and Elliot Boudreaux.
Honorary pallbearers will be his two eldest grandsons, Darven Boudreaux and Michael Angelle.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
