Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial be celebrated at 1:30 pm on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Floyd Joseph Bourque, 72, who passed away on Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Heart Hospital of Lafayette. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Wednesday, and continue on Thursday at 8 a.m. until 1 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Fr. Paul LaFleur will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Alexandra Angelle and Hannah Garritt. Gift Bearers will be Simone Angelle Ancelet and Marissa Angelle. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Floyd was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and his dogs. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Anna Lee "Tina" Bergeron Bourque of Breaux Bridge; his son, Luke Bourque of Lafayette; three daughters, Dianne Bourque Angelle and husband, Scott, Christine Bourque, and Nicole Bourque, all of Breaux Bridge; two brothers, Merlin Bourque and wife, Judy, of New Iberia, and Similien "Jun" Bourque, Jr. and wife, Carleen, of Catahoula; four sisters, Nelda Charpentier and husband, Eddie, of Franklin, Juanita Rester and husband, Bill, of Breaux Bridge, Betty O'Rourke of Chicago, IL, and Beulah Rabeaux and husband, David, of New Iberia; ten grandchildren, Zachary Angelle, Alexandra Angelle, Simone Angelle Ancelet, Jean-Paul Angelle, Marissa Angelle, Stefan Miller, Andrew Miller, Alicia Miller, Hannah Garritt, and Miley Bourque; and two great grandchildren, twin girls, Lissandre and Isolde Ancelet. He is preceded in death by his parents, Similien and Anadia Talley Bourque, Sr.; and his siblings, Delvin Bourque, Sr., Allen Bourque, Delta 'Toot' Norris, Clifton Bourque, and Eula Bourque. Pallbearers will be Merlin Bourque, Jun Bourque, Stefan Miller, Zachary Angelle, Scott Angelle, and Craig Theriot. Honorary pallbearers will be Rod Norris, Ricky Bourque, Jean-Paul Angelle and Andrew Miller.
