Cecilia - Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 28, 2005, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Cecilia for Floyd Ledet, 39, who died Thursday, August 25, 2005 at University Medical Center in Lafayette. Music was the love of Floyd's life, next to his wife and family. ?He enjoyed all the cultural food and activities. ? His mother, whom he adored, was the foundation of his life. Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Ledet of Breaux Bridge; his wife, Debra Ann Ledet of Breaux Bridge; his brothers, Roland Ledet of Lafayette, Darrel Ledet of Lafayette, Malcolm Ledet of Breaux Bridge, Herman P. Ledet of Breaux Bridge, Horace Ledet of Breaux Bridge, Junius Ledet of Duson, and Gilbert Ledet of Breaux Bridge; and his sisters, Rena Ledet of Breaux Bridge, Ramona Ledet of Lafayette, Rose Ledet of Breaux Bridge, Sylvia L. Francis of Lafayette, Indiana Ledet of Breaux Bridge, Prenella Francis of Breaux Bridge and Mary Alice Ledet of Breaux Bridge. He was preceded in death by his father, Percy Ledet, Sr.; and his brother, Percy Ledet, Jr. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 1:00 p.m. ~ 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
