Frances Delcambre

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11 a .m., on Monday, July 18, 2011, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Frances 'PeeWee' Delcambre, 68, who passed away on Friday, July 15, 2011 at Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia. Rev. Rusty Richard, pastor of St. Martin de Tours will officiate. Gift bearers will be Jordan and Brooke Denaille, Tori and Baelyn Guidry. Entombment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville. Frances , known as 'PeeWee' by family and friends, was a devout Catholic and lived her faith. She was a professor of the Cursillo. She also served as Director of the Chamber of Commerce in St. Martinville for 11 years. Her hobbies included making rosaries and scapulas; and when her eyes failed her, she lived for her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Luther Delcambre; her daughters, Chant Delcambre Denaille and her husband, David and Nicole Delcambre Guidry and her husband, Blake; her brother, Robert 'Bobby' Cade and his wife, Toni; her sisters, Carol Degeyter and her husband, Botch, Roxanna 'Buddy' Neuville and her husband, Errol, Nanette Trail and Genie Willis; her grandchildren, Jordan, Brooke and Wedge Denaille and Blaise, Tori and Baelyn Guidry. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles 'Choppy' Cade, Sr. and Roxie Bernard Cade; her brother, Charles 'Sonny' Cade, Jr. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Pallbearers will be Blake Guidry, Blaise Guidry, David Denaille, Wedge Denaille, Bobby Cade and Tynes Mixon, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Tye Trail, Barry Degeyter, Lyle Willis, Billy Degeyter, Boudy Degeyter, Kelly Neuville, Matt Geoffroy, Jesse Landry and Austin Gaspard.
