Francine Marie Gotch and Nevaeh Miracle Alexander Scott - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at True Vine Ministries, 1555 W Willow St. in Scott for Francine Marie Gotch, 38, and her daughter, Nevaeh, who passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the church from 7:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am on Saturday. Pastor Jarvis Harmon will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Martin de Porres Cemetery in Scott, LA. Francine, better known as "Fran", enjoyed walking in the park with her sweet daughter, Nevaeh, while listening to the birds sing and enjoying the beautiful sunshine. She also enjoyed playing basketball, playing video games on her phone, listening to Reggae music, and preparing her favorite dishes: tuna fish, spaghetti, and macaroni and cheese. Fran would often sit outside visiting with family and friends as she watched Nevaeh run and jump and play with her dogs, Sophie and Sheba. Nevaeh had an infectious smile that brought joy to everyone around her. She was always a happy child who enjoyed the little things like playing with her dolls and eating grapes. They will both be greatly missed by all who knew and loved them. Francine is survived by her loving spouse of 7 years Edrick Alexander of Breaux Bridge; mother, Linda Marie Gotch of Scott; step-son, Le'Darius Alexander of Breaux Bridge; sister, Bernadette Rubin of Scott, and Dashae Holmes and husband Samson Rubin of Carencro; brothers, Travis Gotch of Carencro, and Phillip Jollivette and wife Carolyn of Scott. Francine was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Sampy. Nevaeh is survived by her father, Edrick Alexander; brother, Le' Darius Alexander; maternal grandmother, Linda Marie Gotch; paternal grandparents, Edward and Marcella Alexander; godmothers, Dashae Holmes and Joanne Cross; godfathers, Lamont Linzer and Samson Rubin; aunts, Bernadette Rubin, Kendria Alexander, Emily Carron and Cheryl Rubin; and uncles, Curtis Alexander, Travis Gotch, and Phillip Jolivette. Nevaeh was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Joseph Sampy. Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
