Henderson - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson for Francis H. Hebert, 80, who passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at his residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Cecilia from 9:00 am until 1:30 pm on Friday.A rosary will be prayed by Deacon Perry Guidry at 11:00 am on Friday.Rev. Lloyd F. Benoit will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson. Francis worked as a dredge boat captain and with heavy equipment in the United States and abroad. After retirement, he worked as a Civil Servant for the Sheriff's Department. Francis loved spending time with his family, hanging out with his dogs, and watching LSU sports. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dianna Guidry Hebert; son, Link Hebert; brother, Jim Hebert (Shirley); and sisters, Deanna Hebert and Joanna Periou (Warren).He was preceded in death by his son, Tyler Hebert; parents, Daniel and Laura Angelle Hebert; and brother, John Hebert.
