Francis Hebert Sr.

New Iberia - Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm, on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Iberia, for Francis Hebert Sr., 82, who passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Belle Teche Nursing Home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm on Monday, and continue on Tuesday from 8:00 am until 12:30 pm . A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Monday. Rev. Mark Derise, will officiate at the Funeral Service. Scriptures will be read by Celina Thibodeaux and Deja Hebert. Gift bearers will be Callie Arceneaux and Jaelin Hebert. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in New Iberia. Mr. Hebert enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, going to the casino, and playing pool. He cherished moments spent with family and friends. The family would also like to give special thanks to the nurses and staff at Hospice Compassus for their love and support during Mr. Heberts illness. He is survived by his four sons, Frankie Hebert and companion Sarah Marks of Coteau, Faron Hebert of New Iberia, Alwyn Hebert of Loreauville, and Keith Hebert of Loreauville; five daughters, Tina Patout and husband Mark of New Iberia, LA, Janet Mire and husband Elray of New Iberia, Tammy Badeaux and husband Marty of Loreauville, Peggy Hebert of New Iberia, and Julie Hebert of Loreauville; step-son, Ernie Moreaux and wife Brenda of New Iberia; two sisters, Betty Derouen of Jeanerette and Annie Lou Landry and husband Raymond of New Iberia; 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; Anna Flores Hebert and Frederick Hebert Sr.; wife, Alderine Harry Hebert; son, Francis Hebert Jr.;two brothers, Felix Hebert and Frederick Hebert Jr.; two sisters, Zelma Hebert and Anita McClintock. Pallbearers will be Tyler Mire, Devin Badeaux, Donavon Patout, Drake Patout, Seth Moreaux, and Dalton Marks. Honorary pallbearers will be Ernie Moreaux, Elray Mire, Marty Badeaux, Mark Patout, Alwyn Hebert, Keith Hebert, Faron Hebert, Frankie Hebert, Jude Moreaux, Ervin Landry, and David Hebert. In lieu of flowers, donations in Franciss memory may be made to Hospice Compassus, 610 W Pinhook Rd. Lafayette, LA 70503.
