Coteau – A Mass of Christian will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 3, 2023, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, in Coteau, for Frank “Jim” Hebert, 89, who passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023.
Entombment will follow in the church cemetery.
Rev. Matthew Hebert will be the Celebrant.
A lifelong area resident, Mr. Hebert was born on December 8, 1933, in Erath, to the late Laurent and Alice Moore Hebert. He was a retired dairy farmer and horse trainer. Mr. Hebert loved dancing and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors in his daughters, Diane Marie Citrano and Gail Lopez (David Lopez, Sr.); grandchildren, David Lopez, Jr. (Nicole), April Bonin, Corey Citrano (Jodi), and Travis Citrano (Natalie); great grandchildren, Lexie Citrano, Addyson Citrano, Dominic Citrano, Maddox Citrano, Collin Bonin (Cheyenne), Cole Bonin, Luke Lopez, and Jake Lopez; great great grandchild, Saylor Bonin; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy “Toot” Poirier Hebert; brothers, Lloyd Hebert and John Hebert, Sr.; and sisters-in-law, Anna Belle Romero Hebert and Joyce Boudreaux Hebert.
Pallbearers will be Corey Citrano, Travis Citrano, David Lopez, Sr., David Lopez, Jr., Luke Lopez, Collin Bonin, and Cole Bonin.
