Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. , on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 , at Pellerin Funeral Homes in Breaux Bridge , for Frank Harvey Melancon, 54, who passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at his residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 and continue on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fr. Paul J. Lafleur will conduct the services. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge . Frank loved the outdoors, especially being on the waters in his boat. Survivors include his wife, Carleen Grossie Melancon of Breaux Bridge ; his father, Jason A. Melancon; his mother, Doris Mathews Melancon; his brother, Jason P. Melancon; his sisters, Sheraylne Melancon and Cathy ;Hebert, and her husband, Timothy Hebert. ;He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Lynn Melancon and two brother-in-laws, Charles R. Grossie and Johnny Lee Trahan. Pallbearers will be Jason P. Melancon, Randy LeBlanc, Tommy Melancon, Kagan Breaux, Walter Boudreaux and Mike Serette. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason A. Melancon, Maxime Grossie, Jr., David Grossie and C.J. Boyer. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
