Henderson - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Sunday, December 28, 2008, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson, for Frank James Stelly, 53, who died on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at his residence in Lafayette.
Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson.
Fr. Chanh Nguyen, Pastor of Our Lady of Mercy, will conduct the funeral services.
Frank was an avid outdoorsman who loved deer and duck hunting and going fishing. He will be greatly missed by his significant other of 12 years, Debra, and his three daughters, Brittney, Kimberly, and Mandy.
Survivors include his significant other, Debra Durio, of Lafayette; three daughters, Brittney Stelly, of Henderson, Kimberly Stelly and her fianc, Brazos Huval, of Breaux Bridge, and Mandy Stelly and her fianc, Michael Mouton, of Henderson; two step daughters, Tosha Guillory and her husband, Darren Doiga, of Washington, LA, and Nicole Guillory, of Lafayette; two step sons, Beaux Durio and his fiance, Mindy Latiolais, and Jimmy Guillory, all of Lafayette; his brother, Clint Allemond, of Fort Lauderdale, FL; his sister, Aimee Stelly, of Lafayette; and two grandchildren, Daxton Durio and Noah Moss.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Stelly; his mother, Yolande Allemond; and his sister, Judy Stelly.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Henderson from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday and continue at 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Beaux Durio, Michael Mouton, Corey Myers, Dwayne Usie, Tim Lasseigne, and Brian Lasseigne.
