Fred Joseph Dugas

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 31, 2005, at St. Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Fred Joseph "Freddie" Dugas, 42, who died Thursday, October 31, 2005 in Church Point. Interment will be in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Freddie was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors include his companion, Vicky Richard of Arnaudville; his son, Ryan Dugas of Arnaudville; his daughter, Amber Verret of Opelousas; his brothers, Ricky Dugas of Arnaudville, Robert Dugas and his wife, Brenda of Grand Coteau, Charles Ritchie Dugas and his wife, Tonya, and Johnathan Dugas, all of Arnaudville; his sisters, Darlene Sokolowicz and her husband, Tony and Paige Guidry and her husband, Brad, all of Cecilia; one grandchild, Tristen Michelle Phister of Opelousas; and his step-father, James Bernard of Charenton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Fred Dugas and Shirley Marks Bernard. The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia from 9:00 a.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Monday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at Sunday evening. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
