BreauxBridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Monday, October 11, 2010, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Freddie Junior Alexander, 59, who passed away on Wednesday, Ocotber 6, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Survivors include his father, Caffery B. Alexander of Breaux Bridge; sons, Tawaskie Ledet, Sr. of Breaux Bridge, Freddie Foster of Breaux Bridge, Damien Charles of Cecilia, and Raynor Jones, of Breaux Bridge; daughters, Sheena Labbe (Willis) of Lafayette, Latricia Ledet of Breaux Bridge, Fredricka Turpeau of Texas, and Brianna Suire of Cecilia; brothers, Patrick, Shelton, Ricky, and Bernard Alexander, all of Breaux Bridge, Carlton Alexander of Crowley and Clifton Alexander of Texas; sisters, Patricia A. Alexander, Shirley M. Charles (Joseph), Sarah A. Lewis (Gilbert, Sr.), and Rita Charles (Edward), all of Breaux Bridge; half sisters and brothers, Sylvia Randal, Carolyn Roberts, Freda, Rita, Lee, and Guy Randall, and Tracie Landry, all of St. Martinville; and his grandchildren, Dakira Ledet, Morgan Alexander, Tawaskie Ledet, Jr., Tiyonnee Morel, and Ja'Laya Ledet. He was preceded in death by his mother, Zenobia Abraham Alexander; paternal grandparents, Bernard and Sylvia Alexander; maternal grandparents, Bradley and Lena Abraham; grandson, Anthony Alexander; brother, Caffery Alexander, Jr.; and nephew, Jarrick Solomon. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. on Sunday.
