Freddie Anthony Thibodeaux

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 28, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Freddie Anthony Thibodeaux, 66, who passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Hospice of Baton Rouge. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Rev. Fr. Allen Breaux, will officiate at the Funeral Mass. ?The reader will be Robyn Lockwood and gift bearers will be his grandchildren. Mr. Thibodeaux honorably served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed being surrounded by his loving family, friends, and ""man's best friend"", his dogs. Survivors include one son, Robert E. Thibodeaux, of MS; four daughters, Robyn Lockwood, of Baton Rouge, Gina Newton, of NC; Tiffany Thibodeaux, of Morgan City, and Katie Ortiz and husband, Marcel, of Baton Rouge; one brother, Frank Thibodeaux and wife, Jane, of Poche Bridge; three sisters, Mrs. Jay (Norma) Boudreaux, of Carencro, Mrs. Jerry (Loula) Guilbeau, of Carencro, and Mrs. Carroll (Peggy) Thibodeaux, of Breaux Bridge; and nine grandchildren, Sydney Newton, Jacob Newton, Trent Manning, Tyler Daigle, Logan Lockwood, Jasmine Roberson, Toni Grogan, Kaitlyn Grogan, and Marcel Jr. Ortiz. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Rosa Robin Thibodeaux; an infant daughter; two brothers, James and Robert Thibodeaux; and one sister, Nora Boudreaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Thursday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Friday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pallbearers will be John Boudreaux, Ralph Thibodeaux, Craig Thibodeaux, Keith Thibodeaux, Trent Manning, and Mike Thibodeaux.
