Frieda F. Scrantz

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, August 4, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Cecilia for Frieda Scrantz, 47, who died on Monday, July 31, 2007, at her home in Santo, Texas. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Fr. Paul Broussard, pastor of St. Joseph Church, will conduct the services. Frieda was a teacher's aide with the St. Martin Parish School Board for many years and loved all the students she taught. ?She loved spending time with and riding the 4-wheeler with her husband, Kevin. ?Frieda loved life and spending time with her family and friends. ?She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her. She is survived by her husband, Kevin Scrantz; her son, Brandon Scrantz,; her granddaughter, BreeAnna Scrantz, all of Cecilia; her father, Charlie Flieger, of New Jersey; her in-laws, Allen and Burline Scrantz, of Cecilia; and a host of sisters, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Allemond, and her step father. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10 a.m. on Friday and continue until time of service on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Friday. Pallbearers will be Brandon Scrantz, Jeremiah Scrantz, Lance Guidry, Bryan Scrantz, Mike Noble, and Klen Drinoon. Honorary pallbearer will be Tori Guidry. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
