Gabrielle Breaux

New Iberia – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, for Gabrielle Elise’ Breaux and her infant daughter, Kamree Mae, who passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023, in Victoria, Texas.

Interment will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery.

Rev. Garrett Savoie will be the Celebrant.

Visitation will be Tuesday, from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm, at Pellerin Funeral Home, and will continue Wednesday, from 8:00 am until 9:15 am. A rosary, led by the Men’s Rosary Group, will be prayed at 6:00 pm, on Tuesday.

A native of New Iberia, Gabrielle was born on February 15, 1990, and was a graduate of New Iberia High School. She was a recent Dental Hygienist graduate and had previously worked as a branch manager of the US Agencies Auto Insurance, in Abbeville. Gabrielle loved writing, keeping a diary, painting with her kids, traveling, road trips with her mom, sisters, and family, and making everyone laugh.

Gabrielle’s greatest love was her children. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children, who she adored.

Survivors include her mother, Rena Boudreaux Hebert (fiance’ Brandon Hebert); stepfather who raised her, Greg Gerard; children, Montae Barthelemy, D’vyne Barthelemy, and Jhori Smith; sisters, Brandy Breaux, and Shea Breaux; nieces and nephews, Trevon, Lelind, Landon, Cruz, and Haven; step siblings, Kaitlyn Hebert, Dustin Hebert, Kiley Hebert, Angelle Hebert, and Beau Hebert; step grandfather, Kerney Hebert; and her biological father, Daniel Breaux.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Kerry Paul Hebert; sister, Brittany Marie Breaux; grandparents, Vernice Boudreaux, Joyce Boudreaux, and Elizabeth Benoit Galatas; and a step grandmother, Judy Hebert.

Pallbearers will be Jelani Smith, Trevon Charpentier, D.J. Leonard, Gavin Gerard, Zain Gerard, Matt Rios, and Mervin Barthelemy.
