Gail C. Hebert

Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 26, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Gail C. Hebert, 82, who passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024 at her residence.  

 A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Cecilia on Friday from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm. 

A Rosary will be prayed at 12:00 pm on Friday by Deacon Ken Soignier. 

Father Joseph Brasseaux will officiate at the Funeral Mass, assisted by Deacon Ken Soignier. Reader will be Norma Harman. Gift bearers will be Reagan and Ava Hebert. 

Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. 

Gail was a dedicated secretary, serving the State of Louisiana for over 50 years before her transition to work for the City of Lafayette. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church for many years. 

Gail found solace and joy in her hobbies and passions. She loved dancing, tending to her garden and studying genealogy. Gail was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She is survived by her sons, Randy Hebert (Robin) and Rusty Hebert; grandchildren, Brody Hebert (Callie), Raegan Hebert and Ava Hebert; great-grandchildren, Brycen, Hudson and Sophia; and her brother, Richard Champagne. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis "Cabri" Hebert; parents, Arnold Champagne and Blanche "T-Dot" Begnaud Champagne; and her sister, Suzanne Melancon.
