Cecilia - A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia, for Gail Melancon Lasseigne, 58, who passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013, at Lafayette General Medical Center. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 1:45 pm on Wednesday. A rosary will be recited at 1:00 pm on Wednesday. Rev. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the Memorial Service. She is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Broussard, Tonya Broussard, and Abigail Tolliver; her brother, Gilbert Melancon; and eight grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gussie and Thelma Courville Melancon. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
