Garland Thibodeaux

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, September 27, 2007, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Cecilia, for Garland Joseph Thibodeaux, 72, who passed away on Monday, September 24, 2007 at his residence. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Carencro. Rev. Lindsay Long will conduct the funeral service. Mr. Thibodeaux loved his motorcycle. Survivors include his wife, Helen T. Thibodeaux, of Cecilia; two sons, Donald Thibodeaux, of Cecilia, and James Thibodeaux, and wife, Beth, of Broussard; his mother, Lela Richard Thibodeaux, of Lafayette; and four grandchildren, Bubba Thibodeaux, Gwinn Greenhalgh, Justin Thibodeaux, and Ashley d'Augereau. He was preceded in death by his father, Armand Thibodeaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday until time of service. Pallbearers will be Justin Thibodeaux, Bubba Thibodeaux, Melvin Cormier, Bubba Brasseaux, Junior Thibodeaux, and John Thibodeaux. Honorary pallbearers will be his two sons, Donald and James Thibodeaux. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
