Gary Cissna Hewitt

St. Martinville - A Memorial Service will be held at 7 pm on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville for Gary Hewitt, 63, who passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017, at St. Martin Hospital. The family request that visiting hours be observe at the funeral home from 4 pm until 8 pm on Friday. Pastor Jessie Charpentier will officiate at the Memorial Service. Gary enjoyed working on model airplanes, and working with horses. He was a quiet man who enjoyed the outdoors. He is survived by his sons, John (Leslie) Hewitt of New Iberia and Matthew Hewitt of Franklin; brothers, James (Frankie) Hewitt of Franklin and Will (Melanie) Hewitt of Magnolia, T X; and his grandchildren, Drake Hewitt and Luke Hewitt. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Jessie Lee Hewitt. Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
