Gary Veteto

Gary H. Veteto, age 69, of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana passed away on May 26th, 2019. He was born at Fort Campbell, Kentucky on October 28, 1950, the son of Norma Daughhetee Veteto and Hobart H. “Red” Veteto. Survivors include his wife, Dena Lynn Moore Veteto and his brother, Tracy H. Veteto (Nina) of Chandler, NC. Gary was preceded in death by his parents. Gary was a Vietnam-era veteran, having served in the Air Force from August 1969 to January 1974. He was honorably discharged from the Air Force and subsequently pursued a career in aviation. Gary was a proud aviation and helicopter mechanic (A&P) for over 30 years. He was an avid reader of nonfiction and enjoyed watching the birds and various wildlife at he and his wife’s property in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. At his request, no service was held. His ashes will be spread at a private location at a yet to be determined date. Pellerin Funeral Home Breaux Bridge in charge of arrangements.
