New Iberia - Private graveside services will be held for Genevieve Martin Crochet, 87, who passed away on Monday, February 6, 2012 in New Iberia . Born on July 29, 1924 , Mrs. Crochet is a native and lifelong resident of Iberia Parish. She was a member of the American Legion Post 365 Ladies Auxiliary, and was a longtime volunteer at the Social Service Center. Survivors include her daughters, Brenda C. Langlinais and husband Will of New Iberia, Peggy C. Young and husband Doyle of New Iberia; brother, S.J. Martin and wife Vee of Arabie; sister, Lily Mae Breaux of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Dr. Angela Langlinais Bourg and husband G.P., Laura L. Lomenick, Kent Langlinais and wife Jill, Brock Young, Breanne Young, and Ashley Young all of New Iberia; great grandchildren, Megan Bourg, Margaret Bourg, Joseph Bourg, Otis Lomenick, IV, Noah Lomenick, Emily Langlinais, and Kent David Langlinais. She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy Crochet; parents, Sidney and Effie Trimble Martin; sisters, Mamie M. Crochet, Shirley M. Arceneaux, Lenora M.
