Chalmette, LA - A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, on Friday, May 31, 2013, at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens in Chalmette, Louisiana, for George Raymond Bruno, 53, who passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at his residence in Butte LaRose, Louisiana. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens in Chalmette, beginning at 11 am and continuing until time of service. George was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Beth Langlois Bruno of Breaux Bridge; his step daughter, Aimee Zimmer of Metairie; two brothers, Lindsey (Sylvia) Bruno of Metairie, and Mark Bruno of Arabi; his mother-in-law, Gay J. Kain; his father-in-law, R.J. Langlois. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, very special friends, and his beloved pets, Duke, Trixie and Tori. He is preceded in death by his father, Brazile Salvador Bruno; his mother, Gwynith Vead Bruno; and one brother, Brazile Bruno. Pellerin Funeral Home (337.332.2111), is in charge of arrangements.
