Carl Goudeau

Henderson - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church for George Carl Goudeau, 63, who passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by his family. 

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Cecilia, on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 8:00 AM until 11:30 AM. 

Rev. Michael Richard will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Reader will be Tina Daigle. 

Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.

Born in Lafayette, Louisiana on October 28, 1960, Carl was known for his dedication to his work as a marble contractor in the construction industry. He never sought the limelight, but found peace and fulfillment in building and creating.

Throughout his life, Carl was a proud member of the Home Builders Association of Arkansas, a testament to his commitment to his craft. He will be remembered for his love of constructing homes, working on cultured marble in his shop, and his passion for the aircraft world. His devotion to his family was unrivaled, always putting their needs above his own.

Carl's kind and selfless nature shone through in everything he did. He cared deeply for his mother and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. A hardworking man, he tirelessly strived to provide a comfortable life for his loved ones, embodying the values of dedication and sacrifice.

He is survived by his sisters, Gwen (Steve) Harris, Linda (Steve) Adair, Donna Engle, and Chris (Ronnie) Barker; brother, Jarrod (Amanda) Goudeau; and his companion, Rachelle Renee Daigle. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Jean Elnora Magnon Goudeau; and his brother, Don Goudeau Jr..

Pallbearers will be Jarrod Goudeau, Cody Theriot, Troy Daigle, Doug Guidry, Dustin Bergeron and Greg Harris. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Harris, Stephen Harris and Baus Barker.
