Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for George ""Tee"" Guilbeaux, 78, who died Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Mr. Guilbeaux was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army and received the WWII Victory Medal. ?He was a member of the Woodmen of the World. ?George loved to fish and watch sports on television.
Survivors include his son, Chris Guilbeaux and his wife, Robin of Breaux Bridge; his daughter, Georgia Lynne Madden and her husband, Terry of Breaux Bridge; his brother, Gus Guilbeaux of Broussard; his sister, Goldie Gondron of Breaux Bridge; and four grandchildren, Joshua Robert, Cody Guilbeaux, Jenna Guilbeaux, and Whitley Madden.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Euline Savoy Guilbeaux; his daughter, Mary Louise Guilbeaux Richard; and his parents, Cesair and Cora Smith Guilbeaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5:00 p.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening.
Pallbearers will be Terry Madden, Chris Guilbeaux, Joshua Robert, Cody Guilbeaux, Wayne Savoy and Larry Savoy.
