George Patin

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at St. Francis Regis Catholic Church, in Arnaudville for George Patin, 80 who died Saturday, April 22, 2006 at J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home, in Arnaudville. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A retired cook, Mr. Patin proudly served our country in the US Marines, during World War II, and was a member of the VFW and the Holy Name Society. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards. Survivors include his wife, Mina Marks Patin of Arnaudville; sister, Electa Patin Barras of Breaux Bridge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anicet and Lydia Melancon Patin; brother, Melton Patin; and sister, Mary Lou Dermenstine. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 1:00 pm. ~ 9:00 pm. on Monday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Pellerin Funeral Homes of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
