Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Georgia Noel Landry, 60, who passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 am until 10:30 am on Wednesday at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia. A rosary will be recited at 8:00 am on Wednesday. Rev. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Octavia Ledet and Jalyne Cole. Gift Bearers will be Marcel Dalcourt and Madison Minix. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia. Georgia was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge and an active volunteer at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia. She was a talented and wonderful baker who loved sharing her delicious baked goods with everyone. Georgias kitchen always had an incredible aroma while she was baking. She loved spending time with her family and friends and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving husband, Earlie Landry of Cecilia; two sons, Dartamian Landry and wife, Glenda, and Jarrett Landry and fiance, Jalyne Cole, all of Cecilia; her daughter, Danielle Davis and fianc, Coty Sampe, of Breaux Bridge; four brothers, Aaron Williams and wife, Theresa, of Thibodaux, Eddie Williams, Sr. and wife, Elaine, of Baton Rouge, Larry Davis of New Iberia, and Jerome Davis of Breaux Bridge; two sisters, Dianna Locuste and husband, Donald, and Mary Connie Davis and friend, Dennis Smith, of Breaux Bridge; and eight grandchildren, Dartamian Landry, Jr., Marcel Dalcourt, Kennan Batiste, Madison Minix, Kenndy Livings, Kristen Landry, Kalyeb Landry, and Mylan Marks. She is preceded in death by her parents, Douglas Doc Davis, Sr. and Grace Williams Davis; and Douglas Davis, Jr. Pallbearers will be Allen Ledet, Justin Ledet, Leland Landry, Eddie Williams Jr., Lucas Roberts, Bralon Martin, Spiedal Kately, and Leviticus Ledet.
