Lydia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Monday, February 12, 2007, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, in Lydia for Georgie Theresa Sevin,74, who died Sunday, February 4, 2007 in a Thibodaux, LA. Rev. Donovan Labbe will be the Celebrant. Interment will follow in Broussard Cemetery.. Georgie enjoyed listening to George Strait music and most of all making people happy, her happiness was contagious. She never met a stranger, she was a friend, mother and grandmother to all. Everyone will miss her smile, but it will forever be a happy memory. Survivors include her companion of 13 years, Edward ""Neg"" Navarre of New Iberia; her sons, Raymond Sevin, Jr., wife Janet of St. Martinville, Scott Sevin, fianc? Faye Vincent of New Iberia; daughters, Nadine Lloyd, Jolene Gerami, both of New Iberia, Leah Sevin of Lydia and Glynis Darbonne, husband Phil of Youngsville; sisters, Margarine D. Courville, Audrey D. Breaux, both of New Iberia, Eula Viator and Lou Bonin, both of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Joshua Gerami, Jonathan Gerami, Jordan Gerami, Kasi Lloyd, Tristan Lloyd, Trevor Darbonne, Kiersten Broussard, Kayla Stansbury, Dylan Sevin, Drake Sevin and Jamie Dore. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Sevin, Sr.; her parents, Dutille J. DeRouen and Sedonie DuBois DeRouen and her brother Julius J. DeRouen A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, February 11, 2007, from 9:30 AM until 10 PM, at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Sunday. Visitation will continue Monday from 8 AM until time of service. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Phil Darbonne, Raymond Sevin, Robert Prejean, Joshua Gerami, Scott Sevin and Jonathan Gerami Honorary pallbearers will be Larry & Sharon ""JJ"" O'Nellion, Josh Charpentier and Kevin Aucoin Pellerin Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
