Gerald fought a long and courageous battle with cancer for over a year, undergoing many and various experimental treatments in hope of possibly finding a cure for his cancer. It was always his hope and his dream that if a cure could not be found for him, that maybe, one day, the trials that he endured, through all his treatments, would benefit someone else fighting the same excruciating disease of cancer.
He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he may have touched, in one way or another, by Living-Strong each day in hope for a cure.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made, in Gerald's name, to The University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, P. O. Box 4486, Houston, TX 77210-4486.
