e Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Gerald James Delahoussaye, 56, who died Sunday, March 19, 2006 at his residence in Breaux Bridge. Entombment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Gerald loved hunting and enjoyed cooking, but his most treasured love was his grandson, Tristan. Survivors include his wife, Janice D. Delahoussaye; his son, Bryan Delahoussaye and his friend, Kimberly Lenhart; his daughter, Sandi Delahoussaye Orson, and her husband, Jon; his mother, Edna LeBlanc D. Suir; three brothers, Kaven, Alric and Arden Delahoussaye; and his grandson, Tristan Orson, all of Breaux Bridge. He was preceded in death by his father, Avery Delahoussaye; his brother, Mark Delahoussaye; and his nephew, Justin Delahoussaye. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening. Pallbearers will be, Bryan Delahoussaye, Jon Orson, his three brothers, Kaven, Alric and Arden Delahoussaye, and Alvin Dupuis Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Boyer and James Degeyter. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
