Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10 a .m. , on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 , at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge , for Gerald James Landry, Sr., 61, who passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at his residence. Rev. Paul J. Lafleur, will conduct the services. Readers will be Tammy Latiolais, Mariah Landry, and Madeline LeBlanc. Gift Bearers will be Makayla Landry, Cassie Landry, Raven Landry, Gabrielle Latiolais and Dana Marie Frederick. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge . Gerald served as a member of the Army National Guard for 7 years. He worked as a supervisor for Fruit of the Loom for 33 years, and was currently working for Lowes, Inc. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Survivors include his wife, Marshaline Broussard Landry of Breaux Bridge; his father, Wallace Landry of Breaux Bridge; his sons, Thimothy "T.J." Landry and his wife, Patricia Olivier Landry of St. Martinville and Gerard J. Landry, Jr. and his wife, Danielle Green Landry of Breaux Bridge; his daughters, Tammy Landry Latiolais, Rayline L. Harper and her husband, Von Harper, Sr., Geraline Landry Gordon, and Mariah Landry, all of Breaux Bridge and Brianna Bodin and her husband, Aaron Bodin of Abbeville; his brother, Wayne Landry of Breaux Bridge; his sister, Madeline LeBlanc of Breaux Bridge; and his 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Landry; his son in law, Dana Lee Latiolais; his maternal grandparents, Thimothy and Bertha Latiolais Landry; and his paternal grandparents, Louis and Cecile Poche Landry. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a .m. until 10 p.m. on Monday and continue at 8 a .m. until 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Monday. Pallbearers will be Wayne Landry, Thimothy "T.J." Landry, Gerald Landry, Jr., Von Harper, Sr., Aaron Bodin and Keith "L.K." Gammill, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Trey Latiolais, Von Harper, Jr., and Dimetr Harper.
