Gerald 'Jerry' Tauzin

New Iberia A graveside service will be held at a later date, for Gerald "Jerry" Lynn Tauzin, 58, who passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 am until 11 am on Sunday, November 9, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. Jerry loved entertaining people and making them laugh and he also had a great love for animals. He cherished moments spent with his family and friends and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He is survived by seven brothers, Wallace Tauzin of Lydia, Nelson Tauzin and wife, Phyllis, of Rayne, Paul Guidry of Carencro, Norman Tauzin of Scott, Cornel Comeaux of Scott, James Comeaux and wife, Jennifer, of Baton Rouge, and Robert Comeaux of Baton Rouge; and his sister, Sheryl Pugh and husband, Damon, of Lafayette. He is preceded in death by his parents, Norris and Bernice Guidry Tauzin; and his grandparents, Abel and Ozelia Lormand Guidry. Pallbearers will be Jason Mouton, Norman Tauzin, Nelson Tauzin, and Troy Romero.
