Breaux Bridge Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge, for Gerald Williams, 58, who passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Friday, and continue on Saturday at 7:00 am until 10:45 am, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge.
Reverends Chachere, Laday, and Gaines will conduct the Funeral Service.
Gerald love going to church, helping others, and spending time with family and friends, but most of all be cherished moments spent with his grandchildren. Family would like to express our thanks and kindness for the flowers that added a touch of beauty to the setting that was full of gloom, for your prayers that carried us through this time of sadness and for the food that nourished our bodies during this difficult time. The family would like to give special thanks to Mary "Pie" Pete, St. Martin Hospital, Lafayette General Hospital, Southern Care Hospital, Mr. Clyde Duhon, and his children.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne Mouton Williams of Breaux Bridge; his sons, Gerald Mouton, Delshawn Mouton, Tyrus Williams, Tyler Williams, Taylor Williams, Terrell Williams, and Darian Williams, all of Breaux Bridge; his daughters, Kizzy Calais (Reginald ) Richard of Cecilia, Tequila Mouton (Kendrick ) Francis of Lafayette, Katie Mouton of Breaux Bridge, Keeta Mouton (Jason ) Laday of Opelousas, and Kayla Williams of Breaux Bridge; his brothers, Jessie (Cecile) Williams of Beaumont, TX, and Alton (Princess ) Williams, Jr. of Breaux Bridge; his sisters, Mary A. Pete and Paula Williams (Clifford ) Perrodin, all of Breaux Bridge; and 20 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alton Williams, Sr. and Mardes Joseph Williams; his brother, Johnny Williams; his sisters, Alosia Williams, Shirley Williams, and Pauline Williams Lambert; a grandson, Brandon Mouton and a granddaughter, Geraldlynn Mouton.
Pallbearers will be Delshawn Mouton, Tyrus Williams, Jessie Williams, Alton Perry Sr., Calvin Davis, and James Gaines.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Mouton, Tyler Williams, Taylor Williams, Terrell Williams, Darian Williams, Alton Williams Jr., Reginald Richard, Kendrick Francis, Jason Laday, Martin Thomas, Crawford Lee Williams, and Joseph Williams.
