Geraldine Fremin Dugas

Coteau Holmes - Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, on Monday, October 7, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Coteau Holmes, for Geraldine Fremin Dugas, 68, who passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2013. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in St. Martinville from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm on Sunday and continue at 8:00 am until 1:00 pm on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Sunday. Rev. Joseph Padinjarepeedika will officiate at the Funeral Service. Reading the scriptures will be Amber Dugas and Candice Resweber. Gifts will be presented by Tara Serrette, Jaiden Dugas, Kayla Dugas and Alyse Dugas. Interment will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coteau Holmes. Mrs. Dugas enjoyed life and always looked after her family and others. She is survived by her husband, Allen J. Dugas, her grandmother, Leah Romero, who raised her as a young child, her sons, David (Jennifer) Dugas, Jason (companion, Margaret Borel) Dugas, Mark (Heidi) Dugas, her daughter, Tessie (David) Serrette, her sisters, Sharon Fremin, Tammy (Kevin) Prados and Becky Fremin, an uncle that she thought of as a brother, Joseph Charles (J.C.) Romero, her sister in law, Pat (Gerald) Olivier, her grandchildren, Josh Serrette, Krista Dugas, Jude Dugas, Kayla Dugas, Alyse Dugas, Amber Dugas, Max Dugas, Tara Serrette and Jaiden Dugas, her great grandchildren, Jase Serrette, Joni Serrette, Kyan Batiste and Reece Dugas. She is preceded in death by her father, Ulysse Fremin, her mother, Eula Romero Fremin, her son, Allen Joseph Dugas, Jr., her sister, Brenda Comeaux, her grandfather, Sidney Romero, her uncle, Lazard Romero, her step mother, Elsie Fremin and her in laws, Dalton and Rena Dugas Pallbearers will be David Dugas, Jason Dugas, Mark Dugas, David Serrette, Josh Serrette, Jude Dugas and Max Dugas. Honorary pallbearers will be Jase Serrette, J.C.
