BreauxBridge - Funeral services will be held at 11 a .m., on Thursday, October 21, 2010, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Geraldine Ann Beard Schmolke, 66, who passed away on Monday, October 18, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge . Survivors include her husband, Carl Joseph Schmolke; her sons, David Franklin (Belinda), Paul Schmolke (Angela) and Micheal Schmolke; her daughters, Janice Franklin, Karen Schmolke and Rose Marie (Ted) Patin; her brothers, Clifford Beard and Roland Huval; 12 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Tessie Hebert Beard. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Wednesday and continue at 8 a.m until 10:30 a.m on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Pallbearers will be David Franklin, Micheal Schmolke, Joey Franklin, Micheal Anthony Schmolke, Paul Schmolke and Kalyn Guidroz. Pellerin Funeral Homeof Beaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
