Breaux Bridge - A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m., on Friday, August 21, 2009, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Gerard Ray "GBO" Schexnider, 41, who died on Monday, August 17, 2009. Reverend Marshall Clotiaux, Pastor of Living Faith Fellowship in Youngsville, will conduct the service. Survivors include his wife, Rosanna Thibodeaux Schexnider; two daughters, Lea and Lauren Schexnider, all of Arnaudville; his father, Joseph "Ray" Schexnider, of Breaux Bridge; his mother, Yvonne M. Schexnider, of Lafayette; two sisters, Kellie DuBose-Radu and her husband, Byron, of Youngsville, and Meagan Schexnider, of Lafayette; his paternal grandfather, Eugenie L. Schexnider, of Arnaudville; two nieces, Raven Schexnider and Jaice DuBose; and his godchild, Collyn DuBose. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, maternal grandparents; and his first cousin, Johnny Melancon. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:30 a.m. on Friday and continue until time of service. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
