Germaine Dautreuil Stelly

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 7, 2007, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church, in Arnaudville for Germaine Dautreuil Stelly, 84, who died on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at her residence in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. As a faithful, hardworking mother, she enjoyed cooking and feeding everyone who enjoyed her food. ?She loved her family, friends and lived for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. ? Survivors include her sons, Harry Lee Stelly and his wife, Barbara of Scott, Harris Stelly and his wife, Yvonne of Denham Springs and Russell Stelly of St. Martinville; her daughters, Evelyn Kelleher and her husband, Gerald of Virginia and Earline Lay and her husband, John of Duson; her son in law, Harry Lee Robin; her brothers, Laurey Dautreuil and Emery Dautreuil both of Cecilia; her sister, Rita Marks of Arnaudville; her 27 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ella Knott Dautreuil; her husband, Joseph Steve Stelly and her daughter, Joyce Robin. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 until time of service on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Russell Stelly, Marty Noel, Anthony Noel, Brandon Smith, Joseph Stelly and Harris Stelly. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
